Chapel Hill's Biggest State Track Showing in Years
Chapel Hill punched 4 individual state qualifiers and 3 relay entries out of the Region II Area meet at Whitehouse's Wildcat Stadium — one of the largest state track delegations in program history. Rylee Steele qualified in the 100m and anchors both relay squads. Aryssa Cooper qualified in the 200m. Maliek Brown is in the boys 400m, and Ke'Rion Green qualified in the triple jump. The boys 4x400 relay also advanced. The 2026 State Meet runs May 14–16 at Mike A. Myers Stadium, UT Austin.

Rylee Steele
The engine of Chapel Hill's sprint program. Steele runs the 100m (11.86) individually and anchors both relay teams. Last season she placed 4th at state in the 100m and won a state title with the 4x200 relay. She enters 2026 state as a medal contender.

Aryssa Cooper
Cooper qualified in the Girls 200 meters (24.43) and is a key leg on both relay squads. A versatile sprinter who gives the Bulldogs serious depth in Austin.
400m / 4x400 · Chapel Hill
Maliek Brown
Brown qualified in the Boys 400m at 48.41 and anchors the boys 4x400 relay (3:17.35) with Gomez, White, and Blaylock. A sub-49 quarter-miler is a legit medal threat in UIL 4A.
Triple Jump · Chapel Hill
Ke'Rion Green
Green's qualifying mark of 46-8.75 in the triple jump puts him in medal contention at the state level. An elite mark for UIL 4A competition.
